At STUDIO TOZAM, collaboration is built on trust, clarity and shared ambition. I work best when ideas can be explored openly, challenged honestly and translated into tangible outcomes. My focus is always to move ideas toward production ready design decisions, while keeping space for experimentation and learning.

I listen, ask questions and map goals, users, constraints and ambition. We align on what success means for your project.
I translate insights into a clear direction, concept options and a concrete plan. We decide what to explore, what to validate and what to skip.
I build the design through sketches, CAD, prototypes and technical refinement. Decisions are tested against usability, feasibility and desired identity.
I deliver the agreed design outputs and support the next step, from prototyping to supplier alignment or small batch testing. Production outcomes depend on multiple factors, so scope and responsibilities are defined per project.

Confidentiality and public visibility
All information shared with me is treated as confidential. I am comfortable working under confidentiality agreements and I welcome them.
Not everything can be shown publicly. Many collaborations involve early stage ideas, ongoing development or long term partnerships. What appears on my website is a curated selection that respects the confidentiality and commercial interests of everyone involved.
Non disclosure agreements
I can provide my own NDA, or sign yours in consultation. This can be unilateral or mutual, depending on the collaboration.
Non compete agreements
I am open to non compete clauses when they are fair, limited in scope and time, and clearly connected to the project context. I prefer agreements that protect both parties without blocking future creative work unnecessarily.
Intellectual property and usage rights
A significant part of my work involves protecting creative and technical ideas. I am familiar with design rights, patents, model rights and licensing structures.
Ownership and usage rights are always defined in writing for each project, so everyone knows what is permitted, what is exclusive and what remains reserved.
Forms of collaboration
My collaborations typically take one of the following forms
Commercial models
Fixed project fee — clear scope, clear deliverables.
Hourly rate — flexible for small tasks and consultancy.
Phase based work — concept → design → prototype → production.
Rights and ownership models
Royalty agreements — shared success based on sales volume.
Licensing — exclusive or non exclusive rights for an agreed period and scope.
(Partial) buy out — transfer of agreed IP and production rights, in full or in part.
Value exchange
Value exchange — we trade value beyond fees, such as prototypes, production support, access to tools or a strategic partnership.
Each partnership is tailored to the project’s nature and mutual interests, with the aim of creating clear and sustainable agreements.
Terms and conditions
I work with clear written agreements. Where suitable, I align with the BNO General Terms and Conditions and relevant additional conditions for industrial design and intellectual property.
These documents provide a widely used professional baseline for design collaborations in the Netherlands. Note that BNO’s availability can differ for members and non members.
