Prototyping phase

OVASTAAL is a playful research project into connection and balance, explored through both form and function. Within a simple, clean visual language, it offers a wide range of configurations and joints. The modular wall installation turns the viewer into the designer: users can rearrange the composition themselves, creating direct interaction with the object.

With every new setup, the piece comes alive again. Elements shift, combinations emerge and the system continuously evolves. A central principle returns each time: the forms support one another. No single element can stand alone. Each piece requires at least one other to exist in balance.

The oval modules resemble eggs: steel eggs, OVASTAAL. Eggs as a symbol of origin, renewal and potential. A beginning that is always in motion.
